I found a new balance men's walking shoes pair of New Balance shoes at work, left abandoned in my newly acquired cubical. I don't know who left them there, but I was wearing uncomfortable high heels and to my surprise and amazement the shoes were exactly my size and fit like a glove! My white co-worker thought I was being gross. I quickly explained to her that it was the Law of Attraction in my favor, I was destined to have these free shoes since I had passed by the New Balance warehouse in Brighton, Mass two days before and obviously the universe new I wanted them.

Yep, got my New Balance (need new ones though  mine are 3 years old and shot) and my Keens and some Chacos& nobody else has mentioned new balance men's 990 Chacos  they rock. But they're not pretty shoes, just comfy ones. ?? Oh yeah, and I have some birks too but don't wear them much since I got the Chacos. As a side note, I only payed white people prices for new balance shoes trail running one or two pairs of these shoes& ..I RARELY pay full price. ??

heh i know it was supposed to be funny but heres my real reason for buying new balance. nike sucks. i don't really like seeing tons of nike advertisements. and hearing that X athlete is being paid millions to whore their shoes just pisses me off further. add the fact that many of these shoes end up styled like they were supposed to be worn by space alien attention whores and well, i'll pick new balance shoes skate the simple and effective new balance shoes instead.

Oh my god. This is so good. I seriously bought my first pair of shoes to run in without having been recommended any, I bought New Balance. I raved about them (so comfy etc) and when I went back to buy the same pair when those had kind of died, the model I liked weren't being made anymore. So, i shopped around and didn't like any of the other NB so guess what I bought. Asics!! God that made me laugh. And yes, secretly, when I have been running regularly, I do feel better than other folk who don't.

So I was in a shoe store and on one foot was a Nike and on the other a New Balance& The Nike was a little bit cuter (dark grey and hot pink!) and a little bit more supportive of the arches, but then I started thinking about the tiny little baby new balance walking shoes mens hands that made all those adorable little stitches all around that EVIL swoosh. So I asked the sales lady if New Balances were even made in America anymore and she said no. They come from all over. They haven't been domestic for years. My new Nikes are hot.

For running, nothing beats New Balance imo. Their shoes come in various widths for better fitting and they usually take years of virtually anything I've thrown at them to finally require replacement. I couldn't care less about x product being made in y country, but Nikes fall apart on my feet within months.
